Hi Im Jaimee let me share my story with you…….

Firstly Nurture You is in honour of my mum, who passed away from breast cancer at just 45. She was a woman who gave so much to others, but very little nurturing to herself. Through my own journey into health and wellness, I’ve come to understand how important it is to care for ourselves, not just physically but emotionally too, to slow down, to listen, and to fill our own cup. Nurture You is a reminder of that, a reminder to support yourself in a way that feels sustainable and aligned.

My journey into this work didn’t start with a qualification, it started with my family.

I’m a mum, a partner, a daughter, a sister, an aunty, a friend, and someone who has seen firsthand how deeply health challenges can impact the people you love.

I lost my mum to breast cancer when I was only 17, and my sister was diagnosed in her early 30s. At 29, I had my own scare with a lump, thankfully non-cancerous. My brother passed away at 45 after years of health struggles, and my dad has also faced his own challenges, including a heart attack and bowel cancer. These experiences have shaped me in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time, but they planted a seed, a need to look deeper, to question more, and to understand the body beyond what we’re typically told and how do we THRIVE!

MY BEAUTIFUL MUM

But it was becoming a mum that truly changed everything for me.

MY WHY - MY BEAUTIFUL WEE FAMILY (2013)

When my eldest son suddenly developed verbal and physical tics and was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome, we were faced with a decision. Medication was the option presented to us, but deep down, it didn’t feel right for him.

So I started searching.

Late nights were spent researching, trying to understand what else could be going on. I explored everything I could, from live blood analysis to a range of alternative therapies. When it’s your child, you don’t stop.

Over time, we were able to support his body and significantly settle his symptoms.

Not long after, my youngest son began experiencing his own challenges, intense migraines and ongoing gut issues that didn’t seem to have clear answers. This deepened my journey even further.

It was during this time that I came across hair testing. I didn’t fully understand it, I just knew I was sending away a sample, hoping for something to work with.

What came back wasn’t a magic fix, but it gave me clues. It highlighted possible nutritional and environmental factors, and for the first time, I felt like I had a starting point.

Then Came My Own Health Journey

MY ILLNESS HAD A SILVER LINING

In 2020, while working long hours in the beauty industry, I became very unwell and completely bedridden. It started with sudden, extreme migraines, so severe I couldn’t move or eat without being sick. I was eventually hospitalised and diagnosed with spontaneous intracranial hypotension, where the spinal fluid around the brain is disrupted, often due to a leak, causing intense pressure and pain.

The treatment procedure I was given wasn’t working, so I made the decision to discharge myself and go home. Not something I recommend, but at the time, I had to do what felt right for me. For a short time, I accepted the diagnosis, but there came a moment where I just knew this wasn’t going to be my story, not for me and not for my children. So I made the decision that I was going to get better, whatever that looked like.

From there, I began supporting my body in different ways. I explored therapies like chiropractic care, massage, breathwork, and sessions at a headache clinic, while also having hair testing done to gain a better understanding of what my body may need. I focused on what I could control at home, knowing it wouldn’t be one single thing that made the difference, but a combination of support, small changes, and giving my body the time and space it needed.

Slowly, I began to feel better.

Even though I had always lived what most would consider a healthy lifestyle, this experience made me question what true health really looks like. I began studying health coaching to support myself and my family, which led me into iridology and nutrition, where I spent years learning to understand the body’s systems and develop a deeper appreciation for food as medicine.

As I began working with clients in person, analysing irises and supporting their health through nutrition, I found myself wanting to go deeper, to give people a clearer picture of what was really going on beneath the surface. I began encouraging clients to send away hair samples for testing to gather more information and insight. When the results came back, many were left needing help to interpret what it all meant and how to actually support their body.

And that’s when I realised something was missing.

When I first started using hair testing to support my family’s wellbeing, I didn’t fully understand what it was, I was simply sending away a sample and receiving results. As I looked deeper, I realised the services I was using were based on energy measurement technology.

The insight was valuable, but what was missing was clarity around what it all meant and how to actually support the body.

I began researching testing systems from around the world until I found one that truly stood out. It didn’t just look at the physical body, it also considered the emotional side of health. After completing my training, I made the decision to bring this technology into New Zealand, allowing me to support clients across New Zealand and Australia through simple hair or nail samples.

My goal is to simplify health, bring awareness to what your body may be asking for, and empower you to take your health into your own hands. This testing isn’t about telling you what’s wrong it’s simply information your body may be asking you to become aware of. It’s not about fixing the body, it’s about supporting it. My reports are designed to help you connect the dots and understand how to support your body in a way that feels empowering, not overwhelming.

Bridging the gap - from confusion to clarity.

Becoming an Iridologist

MY LYMPHATIC, NEUROGENIC, PANCREATIC EYE SO MANY INSIGHTS INTO MY HEALTH & WHO I AM

My journey into iridology began during my health coaching studies, and it blew my mind!

I couldn’t quite understand how something as simple as the iris could provide such deep insight into our overall health and wellbeing, so I initially dismissed it.

But I kept coming back to it.

The more I explored it, the more it fascinated me, and when I began looking at my own eyes, I was blown away by how much it revealed. From understanding that my lymphatic system was a key area to support, to recognising patterns around digestion, blood sugar balance, and even my tendency toward burnout, it all started to make sense. It reflected not only my physical health, but also my personality traits, how I respond to stress, and the importance of living in a more balanced, supportive way.

What stood out most was how accurately it connected the dots, from childhood patterns like ear, nose and throat issues and skin sensitivity, through to my adult experiences with stress, energy, and health challenges. It gave me a deeper understanding of myself, my needs, and even my children.

From that point on, I knew this was something I wanted to understand properly. I went on to study iridology for three years, analysing hundreds of eyes and learning to recognise the body’s patterns, strengths, and areas that may need support.
